Mario Endara

Mario Endara received a System Analyst degree from the University ORT of Uruguay in 1987.

He began working with Genexus for Windows, soon becoming a known expert of that 4GL tool Genexus is developed by ARTECH, an Uruguayan company). He also participated in the CUTI (TI Uruguayan Camera).

He founded Softworks, an Uruguayan company dedicated to developing software solutions for the PYMES business market in Uruguay.

The company developed a suite of software solutions for the real estate market in Uruguay, where it achieved a leadership position.

In 2004, after the “economic crash” in Argentina and Uruguay, he started a new project in Catalunya, Spain, and became part of the Rainbow development team.

Since 2008, he has been the IT Manager at the Institut of Chemical Research of Catalonia (ICIQ).
