Aline Gomez Maqueo Chew graduated with a B.S. in Industrial Physics Engineering from Monterrey Tech in Monterrey,MX. She then transitioned to Don Bryant's lab at Penn State where she received her Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology and Molecular Biology working on the biosynthesis of bacteriochlorophyll c in the green sulfur bacterium Chl. tepidum.
Aline currently works as a postdoctoral researcher in Tina Henkin's Lab at Ohio State investigating gene regulation by RNA.
