Dr. Yuri Roiter is a staff scientist at Lviv Polytechnic National University (LPNU), Lviv, Ukraine, where he also received his Ph.D. in 2003. He studies low-molecular and macromolecular peroxide compounds. Peroxides, which schemes have been used as examples in this article, were synthesized at the Organic Chemistry Department of LPNU.
