Dr. Satyamoorthy Kabilan has a BS in Biochemistry from the University of London and a PhD in Biotechnology from the University of Cambridge. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Cambridge in the area of holographic sensors. He then left to join Smart Holograms as Principal Scientist and a cofounder. The company was established in 2002 and is involved with the synthesis of novel polymers and ligands for the production of chemical sensors.
