Kitty Porter has been a reference librarian and the librarian for Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, at the Stevenson Science & Engineering Library, Vanderbilt University since 1998. From 1980-1998 she was head of the Chemistry Library, Duke University, and before that a cataloger and part-time reference librarian at the Duke University Medical Center Library. She has a BS in chemistry and an MLS. She is active in the ACS Division of Chemical Information.
