Dr. Hytopoulos, the Director of Scientific and Corporate Informatics, leads the development of information systems, database and analytical approaches for the BioMapTM technology at BioSeek. He has over 12 years of experience in developing and implementing numerical simulation approaches in a number of technological areas and has extensive experience with parallel computing and graphics technologies. Prior to joining BioSeek, as the Director of Data Mining for X-Mine Inc., Dr. Hytopoulos led the group that developed the computational engine for Xminer 1.0. Previously, he held positions at CFD Research Inc., promoting the adoption of numerical simulation technologies in the Semiconductor and Bioengineering (microfluidics) industries. Dr. Hytopoulos has Masters and Ph.D. degrees in Aerospace Engineering and an undergraduate degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. He has published over 17 papers and has given a number of invited presentations and seminars.
