Essential to traditional and emerging discoveries

Data pipelining is essential to traditional discovery informatics as well as emerging disciplines such as translational medicine and biomarker research. Well articulated data pipelining tools and methods allow scientists to unlock information kept in traditional silos, and open the world for researchers to explore, analyze, and visualize information and relationships across a range of disciplines. To fully exploit this world, the solution must also contain deep understanding of the specific domain - in this case, chemical and biological data types, manipulation, property prediction, and modeling, along with the ability to integrate and further analyze wet-lab, clinical, and genomic information.

KNIME (pronounced “naim”), the Konstanz Information Miner, was developed by Professor Michael Berthold, Chair for BioInformatics and Information Mining at the University of Konstanz in Germany, and has emerged as an unequalled data pipelining platform for both single user as well as enterprise-class deployments. KNIME is freely available to researchers under .....
