ChemBioOffice 2010 is the latest release of CambridgeSoft Corporation's full suite of integrated scientific desktop applications designed to aid individual chemists and biologists at their desktops, while also providing a shared solution benefitting scientists across an institution.
ChemBioFinder with ChemBioViz provides a visualization tool to correlate chemical data with biological activity. Features include descriptive statistical results which are shown on plots and Compound Profiles, a way of visually comparing and ranking structures based on values of selected properties.
ChemBioOffice 2010 also includes STATISTICA Base, an integrated statistics platform from partner StatSoft.
This article is comprised of three sections: Section one shows how ChemBioFinder/ChemBioViz can be used to import data from the NLM database to view, search and analyze data. It then discusses the process of exporting data from ChemBioFinder/ChemBioViz into STATISTICA Base for more detailed analysis.
