Meeting the regulatory and reporting demands of the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Chemical Facility Anti-terrorism Standards (CFATS) can be time consuming and error prone. The Screening Threshold Quantities (STQ) for the chemicals of interest specified in Appendix A establish the Risk Based Performance Standards, and these standards help the DHS determine an organization’s risk to the surrounding community as well as mitigate potential threats. CambridgeSoft’s Inventory Enterprise has incorporated tools to monitor these chemicals and help organizations remain compliant with the Department of Homeland Security regulations.

The Inventory Enterprise database contains Appendix A specific data and links this data directly to a substance by CAS Number. The types of data recorded are Release, Theft and Sabotage Thresholds and Concentrations as well as Risk Type.
