Easy access to information is a necessary tool for today's research scientists. The ability to quickly search information such as chemical properties, reagent availability, biological assay results, and toxicological information, is no longer a luxury, but a requirement. CambridgeSoft has an array of CD-ROM and web subscription offerings that allows scientists to conveniently look up critical information.

ChemACX

ChemACX, the Available Chemicals eXchange, is a structure-searchable information database compiled from 300 catalogs of leading chemical suppliers. Information provided in the ChemACX database includes structures, names and synonyms, physical properties, source information and pricing. Sources include research chemical vendors such as Sigma-Aldrich, Fisher, Acros, AlfaAesar, Lancaster Synthesis, and TCI America. Specialty catalogs are also covered, such as peptides from Senn Chemicals and Bachem AG, fluorescent probes from Molecular Probes, radiolabeled compounds from American Radiolabeled Chemicals, Inc. and Moravek.

Subscriptions to ChemACX.Com (http://chemacx.cambridgesoft.com) offer scientists the usefulness of the ChemACX database .....
