Now in operation for well over a year, the Organic Syntheses web site (http://www.orgsyn.org) has been updated to work with the latest browsers.

Organic Syntheses (OS) presents detailed experimental methods in a standard format for the synthesis of organic compounds. In some 77 annual volumes and 9 collective volumes published by John Wiley, OS compiles selected, independently checked synthesis procedures. Initiated in 1921 by Roger Adams of the University of Illinois, OS joined the digital era by providing its content on a freely available website. The OS Board of Directors has provided financing for DataTrace to digitize earlier, current and future volumes and for CambridgeSoft to create a Web collective version of Organic Syntheses in a fully searchable electronic format.
