An Enticing Way to Learn

I originally purchased ChemOffice for Windows in 1991 and have been using it in my classroom as a method of teaching modeling. I have recently obtained the newest version of Chem-Office and I am quite impressed with the latest updates in ChemDraw and Chem3D. The following review is structured around how I use the programs to enhance my curriculum and how the latest features improve the outcome of its applications.

The installation of ChemOffice 2005 caused no complications. The program easily adapted correctly to Microsoft Word and Excel. Drawing the structure of a compound using the Main Tools palette was simple.

I am a true believer that the new generation of students are enticed by video animations as proven by the growing video game industry. I always try to use computer technology to help students explore the fundamentals of chemistry and I have found this program very useful in teaching .....
