E-Notebook A Digital Alternative to the Mighty Lab Notebook

THE DESIRE to chuck the lab notebook for a digital alternative gets stronger as computers become nicer, faster, and damn near ubiquitous. In the academic setting, however, despite notable exceptions, the PC has scarcely replaced the mighty lab notebook. The following is one assessment of E-Notebook as a contender to this persistent descendant of papyrus.

Operating System

This review was performed on a 550 MHz Pentium III computer with 224 MB of RAM. The operating system was Windows 98 with all the upgrades and updates that Microsoft has made available. E-Notebook was operated in single user mode on this PC.

Getting Started
