First, a quick review: Chem3D is a visually-oriented molecular modeling and analysis package that more than 100,000 chemists use to understand what molecules look like in 3D, how changes in their shapes affect their energies, how flexible or rigid they are, and what their electronic properties look like.

The Chem3D You Know...

You can build three-dimensional molecules from scratch by “growing” bonds and designating atom types, or you can just copy a structure from ChemDraw or ISIS and paste it into Chem3D. Chem3D converts 2D drawings to 3D models, making educated guesses that are likely to produce a .....
